World-renowned custom vehicle builders, Osprey Custom 4x4 in Castle Hayne, North Carolina, are proud to present our latest bespoke creation — a sporty, upscale 2021 OC90 Soft Top — respectfully reimagined in the footsteps of the legendary Land Rover Defender 90.

Starting with a new galvanized chassis, this ALL-NEW build was completed by our talented team of craftsmen in late December 2021. A deep-breathing, free-revving 6.2L Corvette LS3 V8 provides forward motivation, while the smooth-shifting 6L80E 6-speed automatic transmission with PCS® LED display push-button gear selector mated to a heavy-duty, center differential lock-equipped LT230 transfer case distributes constant power to all four wheels, ensuring the vast majority the 435+ horsepower and 445+ pound-feet of ground-punishing torque makes it to the ground. Power disc brakes at all four corners ensure stopping is safe, quick, and efficient.

The upgraded, heavy-duty TDCI front and rear axles are located by slightly-taller-than-stock Terrafirma® Pro Sport springs, along with heavy-duty Terrafirma® shocks, Terrafirma® caster-corrected front and cranked rear radius arms, track rod, drag link, and Terrafirma® steering damper, all protected by a heavy-duty aluminum front skidplate. It rides on sleek, gloss black 20" Range Rover “Stormer” alloy wheels wrapped with 275/60R20 Cooper® Zeon® LTZ all-terrain tires. 

The stately Santorini Black body panels with matching wheel arches and trim were carefully mated to the chassis once back from our in-house bodywork and paint shop. The gloss black powder-coated 4-point NAS-spec roll cage protects your precious human cargo and the tight-fitting soft top with roll-up or zip-out rear windows keeps the elements at bay when needed, or is easily removed when you want that wind-in-your-hair feeling. The front end was updated with a premium grille and gloss black light surrounds, side intake, and forced air wing top vents. The front bumper houses LED running lamps, and the NAS-spec rear step bumper, complete with a 2" hitch receiver, jacking/recovery points, and trailer wiring harness, and heavy-duty swing-away rear tire carrier brings up the rear.

In the cockpit, the modern TDCI PUMA-style dash provides excellent heating and air conditioning ensuring the passenger cabin is comfortable year-round and there’s a heated front windscreen for those extra frosty mornings. The bespoke interior is complete leather door cards, billet aluminum interior door pulls, and LED illuminated exterior door handles. The power-operated, heated front Cadillac Recaro® sport seats are upholstered in black leather and luxurious Alcantara. Two forward-facing, stowable rear seats with matching upholstery provide the ultimate in flexibility – seating for passengers or true utilitarian cargo space.

Infotainment is provided by a double-DIN Atoto® S8 Android-based touch-screen head unit with navigation, Bluetooth®, WIRELESS Apple Car Play®, and Android Auto® integrated into the satin black fascia center stack and complemented by a rich-sounding Rockford Fosgate® 8-speaker array. The leather-wrapped custom center console with a deep cubby storage compartment is equipped with a wireless fast-charging pad, USB charging ports, and aluminum cupholders. The front windows are power-operated, and the Viper® keyless entry and remote starting provide security and convenience. Heavy-duty rubber floor mats protect the front footwells and rear loadspace area.
