Osprey Custom 4x4, the world-renowned custom vehicle builders based in Castle Hayne, North Carolina, are thrilled to present our latest commission — this ultra-luxurious Viking Blue Metallic 2-Door Soft Top – a stunning SUV featuring twenty-first-century craftsmanship wrapped in true motoring heritage.

Starting with a new, hot-dipped galvanized chassis, this exciting build was completed by our talented Team of Master Craftsmen in October 2022. The stout 6.2L Corvette LS3 V8 provides impressive forward motivation, while the precise-shifting 6L80E 6-speed automatic transmission with Camaro-style shifter mated to a heavy-duty, center differential lock-equipped LT230 transfer case distributes constant power to all four wheels making certain that the brawny 435+ horsepower and 445+ pound-feet of torque makes it to the ground. Powerful disc brakes at all four corners ensure stops are quiet, safe, quick, and efficient.

The upgraded, heavy-duty front and rear axles are situated by slightly-taller-than-stock Terrafirma® shocks and springs, Terrafirma® caster-corrected front and cranked rear radius arms, track rod, drag link, and Terrafirma® steering damper, all protected by a heavy-duty aluminum front skid plate. It stands on bold, satin silver 18-inch Iconisus® “ICON7” alloy wheels wrapped with 275/70R18 Cooper® Discoverer® AT3 XLT™ tires — tires built to handle heavy loads or tow some serious weight while providing a smooth ride on highways, with beefy traction shoulders to grip tough terrain for enhanced off-road control.

The body, sporting an agressive Project Kahn® widebody kit, was expertly finished in distinct Viking Blue Metallic and carefully reunited with the chassis once back from our in-house body and paint shop. A satin silver powder-coated 4-point roll cage protects precious human cargo and the tight-fitting, premium Chocolate soft top with roll-up/zip-out side and rear windows keeps the elements at bay when needed and can easily be removed when you want to feel closer to Mother Nature. “Osprey” monogrammed, LED-illuminated, billet aluminum exterior door handles, and billet aluminum door, bonnet, and windscreen hinges complement the color palette, as the front end was updated with a color-matched Project Kahn® grille and light surrounds, and side intake and forced-air wing top vents with silver accents. The front bumper is home to twin LED driving lamps and the tubular rear step bumper accommodates the rearview camera, a 2" hitch receiver, and jacking/recovery points. A heavy-duty, swing-away rear tire carrier neatly finishes the tail end.

Satin black, powder-coated Masai® tubular side steps with silver treadplates assist with ingress and egress to the posh passenger cabin where you’ll find the biggest surprise with this vehicle — unexpected luxury and utility. Ultra-rich Light Saddle Tan Leather abounds inside, covering the high-back, heated front sport seats, the two forward-facing, stowable rear seats, the modern-style dash, and the door cards — the seats and door cards with chic square stitching. The rear seat configuration provides the ultimate flexibility — seating for additional friends and family or true utilitarian cargo space. Billet aluminum interior door pulls, door handles, lock escutcheons, HVAC controls, and vent trim rings add the finishing touches to this unexpectedly refined interior.

The modern dash provides excellent heating and air conditioning, ensuring comfortable cabin temperatures regardless of the weather outside. For those extra-brisk mornings, the front windscreen is also heated. Heavy-duty rubber floor mats protect the front footwells and loadspace, and the leather-wrapped center console houses a convenient storage cubby, as well as a wireless fast-charging pad for mobile devices, USB charging points, and two oversized aluminum cup holders.

Get behind the dark wood-rimmed steering wheel with polished aluminum spokes and you’ll be greeted by a state-of-the-art infotainment system featuring an Atoto® S8 Android-based 7” HD capacitive touch-screen head unit with wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto®, dual Bluetooth®, built-in Digital Signal Processor, and GPS navigation, housed in a piano black center fascia and complemented by a rich sounding Rockford Fosgate®/Memphis Audio® 8-speaker array and an 8” Rockford Fosgate® Punch® subwoofer powered by a Kenwood® eXcelon® 5-channel, 1600 watt amplifier.
